Katayoun Karami, born in Tehran, Iran in 1967, studied Architecture at Middle East University in Ankara, Turkey. As a conceptual artist, Karami’s art practice engages with socio-personal projects based on collective community experiences through mixed media. Her exhibitions have been held at various galleries around the world since 2002.
